How to Use
This tool calculates optimal sleep and wake times based on 90-minute sleep cycles to help you wake up feeling refreshed. 1. Choose your mode using the tabs at the top: - "I need to wake up at..." - Enter your desired wake time - "I'm going to sleep at..." - Enter your planned bedtime 2. Set your time using the time picker (click to select hours and minutes) 3. Click the calculate button to see your options 4. View results showing 3-4 different times, each representing complete sleep cycles (3-6 cycles total) 5. Look for "Recommended" tags - these indicate 5-6 cycles (7.5-9 hours) which are ideal for most adults 6. Each result shows the suggested time, number of sleep cycles, and total sleep hours The calculator automatically adds 14 minutes to account for the time it takes to fall asleep. Choose times that give you 5-6 complete cycles for the best rest quality.
