HIIT Timer comes loaded with presets for Tabata (20 seconds on, 10 off), classic HIIT, and longer endurance blocks — or you can dial in every number yourself. Audio cues call out each transition so you never need to glance at the screen mid-burpee.
Round tracking keeps a running count as you go, which matters more than it sounds when fatigue starts blurring the numbers in your head. It fits naturally into any health & fitness routine, whether you're building a home circuit or timing rest periods at the gym. If you want to pair effort with recovery, Breathing Exercise is a solid companion for winding down after a hard session.
The app works best on a phone propped at eye level — audio handles the coaching, so you won't need to touch the screen once the timer starts.
How to use
This is a HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workout timer that alternates between work and rest periods. • Select a preset workout (Tabata, Classic, etc.) or customize your own by setting work time, rest time, and number of rounds • Click "Start Workout" to begin with a 5-second preparation countdown • Follow the on-screen prompts: "WORK" periods for exercise, "REST" periods for recovery • Audio beeps signal phase changes: long beep for work periods, short beep for rest • The progress bar shows time remaining in current phase • Use "Pause/Resume" to temporarily stop the timer • Click "Stop" to end the workout early and return to setup • Timer displays current round, elapsed time, and total workout duration • Workout completes automatically after all rounds are finished The app runs entirely in your browser - just set your intervals and start exercising!
