Getting started
What is Launch Arcade?
Launch Arcade is a subscription web app store. You pay a monthly fee, unlock apps from our catalog, and play them instantly in your browser — no downloads or installs needed.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Every app on Launch Arcade runs directly in your browser. Just click unlock and start playing.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Free accounts get 2 app slots so you can try the platform before subscribing.
Subscriptions & billing
What plans are available?
We offer three paid tiers: Basic ($4.99/mo, 5 slots), Pro ($9.99/mo, 15 slots), and Max ($19.99/mo, unlimited slots). All tiers get full catalog access.
How do I cancel?
Go to your Account page and click "Manage subscription" to open the Stripe billing portal. You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@launcharcade.com and we'll work it out.
Unlocks & app access
How do unlocks work?
When you unlock an app, you get 24 hours of access. After 24 hours the unlock expires and the slot frees up for a new app.
What happens when all my slots are full?
You'll need to wait for an existing unlock to expire before you can unlock a new app, or upgrade your plan for more slots.
Can I re-unlock the same app?
Yes. Once an unlock expires, you can unlock the same app again for another 24-hour window.
For creators
How do I submit an app?
Sign up, go to the Creator page, and upload your app as a .zip file with an index.html at the root. Add a description and testing instructions, then submit for review.
What kind of apps can I submit?
Static web apps — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Games, tools, utilities, creative experiments — anything self-contained that runs in a browser.
How much do creators earn?
Creators earn 60% of net subscription revenue, split proportionally by their share of total unlocks. More usage means more earnings.
How are payouts processed?
Payouts are calculated monthly and sent via PayPal. Make sure you've added your PayPal email in your Account settings.
