Type in a fitness goal — lose weight, build muscle, eat cleaner — and MealMatch surfaces recipes filtered to your actual nutritional targets. You browse by macros, calories, or meal type, and each result shows exactly what you're getting before you commit to cooking it. No scrolling through irrelevant results; the filtering does the work.
It fits naturally into the broader health & fitness routine, especially if you're already tracking numbers. Pair it with TDEE Calculator to figure out your daily calorie target first, then use MealMatch to find meals that actually hit those numbers — that combination makes the whole process feel less like guesswork.
The app runs entirely in the browser with no account required, so there's nothing to install or sign in to. It works best on desktop where you can keep a recipe open in one tab while you shop or prep in another.
How to use
1. Type a cuisine name in the search box (e.g., "Italian", "Mexican") or use the autocomplete suggestions that appear as you type 2. Click "Get Your Match!" to search for a random recipe from that cuisine 3. View your results: • Recipe card shows the dish image, description, total calories, and a link for full cooking instructions • Exercise card displays how long you'd need to walk, run, bike, or swim to burn off those calories 4. Click "Next Recipe" to get a different recipe from the same cuisine without searching again 5. Click "More Info" on any recipe card to view complete ingredients and cooking instructions Goal: Discover recipes and understand the exercise effort needed to burn off the calories, helping you make informed food choices and stay active. The app automatically calculates exercise durations based on average calorie burn rates for a typical adult.
