Forcefield
Turn any photo into a stunning particle animation powered by force fields. Upload an image and watch it dissolve into thousands of flowing particles.
About Forcefield
Upload any photo — a portrait, a landscape, a logo — and watch it shatter into thousands of tiny particles that drift and swirl according to simulated force fields. The original image dissolves completely, then slowly reforms, its colors preserved in each individual point of light. The effect lands somewhere between scientific visualization and digital painting.
Forcefield belongs squarely in the creative tools space, and it earns its place there by doing one thing with real depth rather than offering a dozen shallow filters. The force field parameters shape how particles accelerate and curve, so two runs on the same photo can feel completely different. If you enjoy working with color and image-based art, Color Palette Builder pairs well for extracting and saving the palette from a photo before you bring it here.
No drawing skill required — just a decent image file. Higher-contrast photos with strong edges tend to produce the most readable results, and the animation runs smoothly in a desktop browser on any reasonably modern machine.
How to use
• Upload an image using the "Upload Image" button or use the default image • Move your mouse or drag across the canvas to create ripple effects that push particles away from your cursor • Particles automatically return to their original positions when not disturbed (self-healing effect) • Use the GUI sliders to adjust: - Particle density - Effect radius around your cursor - Force strength of the repulsion - Self-healing speed • Keyboard shortcuts: - Press "r" to reset all particles to original positions - Press "s" to save a screenshot - Press "v" to start/stop video recording (saves to downloads) • The goal is to create dynamic, flowing animations by interacting with the particle field • Experiment with different images and settings to create unique visual effects
