Drop a GeoJSON, KML, or GPX file onto the map and your geographic data appears as rendered shapes and markers within seconds. There's no upload button, no account, and no server involved — everything processes locally in your browser, so sensitive location data never leaves your machine.
It's a quick way to sanity-check a file exported from QGIS, verify a route recorded on a GPS device, or just see what's actually inside a .kml someone sent you. The interactive tools category has plenty of similarly file-drop-friendly utilities if you find yourself doing this kind of data inspection regularly. The map is powered by Leaflet, so panning and zooming feel responsive on both desktop and touch. Works best when your file is well-formed — malformed coordinates will render silently incomplete rather than throwing an obvious error, so keep that in mind.
How to use
