About Flagcademy
Flagcademy is a friendly way to learn the flag of every country in the world — all 194 of them — without a textbook, a login wall, or a single advert. Whether you are revising for a geography test, training for pub-quiz glory, or just curious which flag belongs to which nation, it turns memorising 194 flags into something you will actually look forward to.
Four ways to learn
- Learn — tap-to-flip flashcards that show you a flag, then reveal the country, its capital, and its region. The deck uses spaced repetition to push the flags you have not mastered to the front, so your study time goes where it counts.
- Quiz — fast multiple-choice rounds in either direction: see a flag and name the country, or see a country and pick its flag. Choose a region, a length, and a style, and the quiz leans toward the flags you still find tricky.
- Atlas — a searchable reference of all 194 flags. Look up any country or capital and open a detail card with its region, population, and area.
- Progress — a mastery dashboard with a completion ring, a per-region breakdown, lifetime stats, and a wall of achievements to chase.
Built to make it stick
Every correct answer nudges a flag up its mastery ladder; every miss brings it back for more practice. Your progress saves automatically and follows you between devices, so you can run five flashcards on your phone at lunch and pick up exactly where you left off on your laptop that evening.
The whole world, region by region
Flags are colour-coded and grouped by continent — Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania — so you can master one region at a time or take on all 194 at once. Earn badges for clearing each continent, keep a daily study streak alive, and climb the global leaderboard.
No downloads and no installs — Flagcademy runs right in your browser, on your phone or your computer. Start with a single flag and, before long, you will know them all.
How to use
Open the Learn tab to flip through flashcards and grade yourself "Got it" or "Still learning" — the deck focuses on the flags you have not mastered yet. Jump to the Quiz tab for multiple-choice rounds (pick a region, length, and style). Use the Atlas to search any country or capital and read its details, and check Progress to see how many of the 194 flags you have mastered. Your progress saves automatically.
