About Wordle
Six guesses. One hidden word. Every attempt narrows the field: green tiles mean the right letter in the right spot, yellow means the letter exists but belongs elsewhere, and grey means cut it entirely. The logic builds quickly, and that satisfying click of a correct guess never really gets old.
Wordle is a daily puzzle — one word per day, same word for everyone — so there's a natural stopping point built in. It's a staple of word and puzzle games, and the format is clean enough to finish in a few minutes over coffee. If you'd rather work without a time limit and enjoy visual deduction, Launch Nonogram is worth a look.
No account needed, no settings to fiddle with. The keyboard on screen works fine on mobile, but on desktop your physical keyboard maps directly to input, which makes typing guesses noticeably faster.
How to use
• Guess the secret 5-letter word in 6 attempts or fewer • Type letters using your keyboard or click the on-screen keyboard buttons • Press Enter to submit each guess - only valid words are accepted • After each guess, tiles change color to give you clues: - Green: correct letter in the right position - Yellow: correct letter but in the wrong position - Gray: letter is not in the word at all • Use Backspace or the delete button to remove letters before submitting • You have 6 rows to figure out the word - each row is one guess • Pay attention to the keyboard colors too - they update to show which letters you've tried • Win by guessing the exact word, lose if you run out of attempts
