About HexGL Racing
You sit behind the controls of a sleek anti-gravity ship and blast down neon-lit tracks at blistering speed. HexGL Racing is a browser-based 3D racer built with WebGL, drawing clear inspiration from the F-Zero and Wipeout lineage — tight corridors, sharp banks, and the constant threat of clipping a wall and watching your momentum evaporate. It runs entirely in your browser with no installation needed.
The handling rewards commitment. Brake too early and you lose time; brake too late and you're spinning into the barriers. Three tracks are available, each with its own rhythm, and the difficulty ramps up enough that shaving seconds off a lap feels genuinely earned. If you enjoy fast, skill-based arcade games, this one has real teeth.
A keyboard or gamepad both work well, but a gamepad is noticeably more comfortable for sustained sessions — the analog input makes steering through sweeping curves far more forgiving than tapping arrow keys.

How to use
Race your futuristic hovering ship around a 3D track as fast as possible. **Objective:** Complete the race track in the shortest time possible **Controls:** • Arrow keys or WASD: Steer left/right, accelerate/brake • Mouse: Alternative steering (move left/right) • Spacebar: Brake/reverse **Getting Started:** 1. Click "Start" from the main menu 2. Choose control scheme (Keyboard, Mouse, or Touch) 3. Adjust quality settings if needed 4. Click to begin the race **Racing Tips:** • Your ship hovers above the track - use momentum to take corners • Hit speed boost pads (glowing sections) to gain velocity • Avoid hitting walls as this will slow you down • Use brake before sharp turns to maintain control • Try different racing lines to find the fastest route **Goal:** Beat your best lap time and challenge yourself to improve with each race.
