About Pokemon Team Analyzer
Pick six Gen 1 Pokémon, then watch the analyzer do the math. Combined stat averages surface immediately — you can see at a glance whether your team leans too heavily on Special or leaves Defense dangerously thin. The type coverage chart maps out every offensive type your squad can hit and, more usefully, every type hitting you that nobody resists.
The real value is in spotting gaps before they cost you a battle. Swap in a replacement and the numbers update instantly, so you can iterate quickly rather than running mental arithmetic on six movesets at once. Finished lineups can be saved and shared, which makes it handy for settling debates with friends or documenting a team you want to revisit. It sits comfortably in the broader games catalog but functions more like a planning tool than a traditional game.
If you want to test the Gen 1 knowledge behind your team choices, Who's That Pokémon? is worth a look. The analyzer works best on a larger screen because the full type coverage chart needs room across both axes to be readable at a glance.
