About Red Hat Boy Runner
Your job is simple: keep the little red-hatted runner alive as long as possible. Obstacles rush toward him from the right, and every clean jump or slide adds to your score. Miss your timing once and it's over — back to zero, ready to go again.
Built entirely with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript, it runs straight in the browser with no downloads or installs. The mechanics are stripped back to the essentials, which makes it easy to pick up but surprisingly hard to put down. Keyboard controls handle everything, so it plays best on a laptop or desktop rather than a touchscreen.
How to use
• Press ENTER to start the game from the main menu • Use SPACEBAR to make the red hat boy jump over obstacles • Your character runs automatically - you only control jumping • Avoid hitting obstacles to stay alive and keep running • Your score increases the longer you survive • The game gets faster and more challenging as you progress • Reach a score of 800 to win the game • If you hit an obstacle, the game ends and shows your final score • Click "Try Again" or "Play Again" to restart after game over or winning
