Comet Crossing
You are a small, determined comet on a fixed orbit through a busy little solar system. Hold to burn, release to coast — that is the whole game, and it is plenty. Planets, moons, and asteroid trams cross your path at four glowing intersections, and one bump ends the run. Graze past a crosser for near-miss bonuses, chain them for multipliers, and ride the blaze at top speed when your nerve holds. Every lap tightens the traffic. Endless score-chasing with unlockable comet palettes, plus a seeded Daily Crossing where everyone threads the same sky, with a shared leaderboard and streaks.
About Comet Crossing
Comet Crossing is a one-button arcade game about nerve. Your comet rides a fixed orbit through a storybook solar system — sleepy-faced planets, moons on wire-thin rings, a nebula slowly drifting through its colors — and it never stops. You control exactly one thing: hold to burn, release to coast. Four glowing crossings cut your orbit, and the sky keeps sending things through them.
Read the sky, pick your moment
Everything that can hit you is visible long before it matters. Each crossing glows as traffic approaches, and a soft shadow band sweeps ahead of every mover. Fast little moons, slow fat planets, and asteroid trams — three linked rocks with a gap in the middle that a comet at full burn can thread, if its pilot has the stomach for it.
The scoring is the dare
- Near-misses pay. Graze a crosser without touching it for a bonus, and chain grazes in one lap for ×2 and ×3 multipliers.
- The blaze pays. Hold top speed long enough and your tail ignites — score ticks up every second it burns, and every second is a second you can't slow down.
- Laps compound. Every completed orbit raises the lap bonus and tightens the traffic, 4% at a time.
Fair by construction
The traffic generator guarantees a passable window at every crossing, always — when you clip a moon, it was your read, not the game's. One bump ends the run with a gentle bonk and dizzy stars, and the retry button is one tap away.
One sky a day, shared
The Daily Crossing deals every player the same seeded traffic pattern once a day, with a score leaderboard and a streak to protect. Unlock new comet palettes by flying far, runs restart in under a second, and the whole thing plays with one thumb in your browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. No download, no install.

How to use
One input: press and hold anywhere to burn, release to coast back down — you can never stop, so timing is everything. Glowing bands mark the four crossings; a soft shadow sweeps over a band when something is about to cross it. Graze a crosser without touching it for +15 and chain near-misses for multipliers. Hold top speed for 1.5 seconds to ignite the blaze: score ticks up while it lasts. Asteroid trams have a marked gap you can thread at full burn. Desktop: hold Space or the mouse button.
