Astray
Navigate a ball through procedurally generated 3D mazes using WebGL.
About Astray
You tilt and roll a ball through twisting 3D corridors, coaxing it toward the exit while the walls close in around you. Every maze is procedurally generated, so no two runs look the same — the moment you think you've memorized a pattern, the geometry reshuffles and catches you off guard.
Built with WebGL, Astray runs entirely in the browser with smooth, real-time 3D rendering and no installation required. It sits comfortably alongside other browser-based games that reward spatial thinking and patience over raw reflexes. If you enjoy this kind of geometry-driven challenge, HexGL Racing offers another WebGL-powered test of spatial awareness at much higher speed.
Controls are keyboard-based — arrow keys steer the ball — so a laptop or desktop is where this one plays best.

How to use
• Use ARROW KEYS or WASD to roll the ball through the maze • Navigate from your starting position to the exit at the bottom-right corner of the maze • The camera follows your ball automatically as you move • Complete each level to advance to a larger, more challenging maze • Your ball has realistic physics - it will bounce off walls and maintain momentum • Press 'I' to toggle these instructions on/off during play • The game starts at Level 1 and progressively increases difficulty with each completed maze • Look for the opening in the maze walls to find your way to the exit
