About SUPERCOLD
Every bullet hangs in the air. Every enemy waits, frozen mid-lunge. SUPERCOLD is a first-person shooter where time only advances when you move — the moment you stop, the world holds its breath. That single rule turns each level into a puzzle: inch forward to let the action unfold, pause to survey the chaos, then commit to a move and watch it play out in a burst of fast-forward violence.
It rewards patience over reflexes. Reading a room, plotting a path through incoming fire, deciding when to sprint and when to stay still — these matter far more than reaction speed. Fans of action and strategy games who enjoy peeling apart a mechanic will find a lot to chew on here.
SUPERCOLD is a browser-based, open-source project built with WebGL, so it runs best on a desktop or laptop with a mouse and keyboard. Levels are short, but the puzzle logic means you'll replay them more than once to nail a clean run.

How to use
• Use WASD keys to move your character around the 2D battlefield • Left click anywhere to fire your weapon at enemies • Hold Shift + Left click on an enemy bot to "hotswitch" (take control of them) • Press T to instantly restart the current level, ESC to quit **Objective:** Eliminate all enemy bots on each level to progress. Try to unlock all mutators and guns by reaching higher levels - you'll need them as opponents get tougher. **Key Mechanic:** Time only moves when you move (like SUPERHOT). Standing still keeps time frozen, giving you a tactical advantage to plan your next move. **Tips:** • You can shoot enemy bullets to destroy them • Enemy bots can kill each other if positioned correctly • Time moves slightly faster when you look around • Don't rush - use the time-freeze mechanic strategically Select your starting level and customize with unlocked mutators and weapons before clicking Start.
