About Star Zombie Chase
Each turn, you pick a direction and move one step on a grid — while the zombies take a step of their own. That's the whole mechanic, but the tension it creates is genuine. Routes that looked safe two moves ago suddenly collapse, and a single misstep puts the undead on top of you. Thinking ahead isn't optional; it's survival.
The grid format keeps every decision visible and honest. There's no hidden information, no luck — just you outmaneuvering opponents that never tire and never hesitate. If you enjoy puzzle and strategy games that reward careful spatial thinking, this fits right alongside something like Launch Nonogram, which similarly asks you to plan several moves ahead before committing.
Rounds are short enough for a quick break, and the game runs entirely in the browser with just keyboard or arrow-key input — no setup required.
How to use
• Your goal is to collect all flasks (🧪) scattered around the map while avoiding zombies that chase you • Move by clicking any square in the 3x3 area around your character, or use arrow keys on keyboard • Touch screen controls available on mobile devices • Zombies move after each of your moves and will pursue you relentlessly • Getting caught by a zombie ends the game • Obstacles (⛔) block movement for both you and zombies • Game is turn-based - zombies only move after you do • Collect all items to win the level • Use the settings menu to customize map size, zombie count, obstacles, and items before starting • Game displays your current turn and collection progress at the top
