About Spelling Bee
Seven letters sit in a honeycomb grid, one highlighted in the center. Your job is to build as many valid words as you can — but every word must use that center letter, and every letter can be used more than once. Short words earn points; longer ones earn more. Hidden somewhere in the set is a pangram that uses all seven letters at least once, and finding it hands you a serious bonus.
It's a clean, satisfying puzzle that rewards a wide vocabulary without punishing slow play. There's no timer, no lives to lose — just you, the letters, and the nagging feeling that there's one obvious word you keep missing. Fans of word and puzzle games will feel right at home, and if you enjoy logic grids too, Launch Nonogram is worth a look when you need a break from letters.
Works best with a keyboard — typing guesses is noticeably faster than clicking individual tiles — and a single session typically runs anywhere from five minutes to much longer if the pangram stays elusive.
How to use
• Create words using 7 letters arranged in circles - one center letter (required) and 6 outer letters • Words must be at least 4 letters long and include the center letter • Letters can be reused multiple times in the same word **Controls:** • Click letter buttons or type on keyboard to spell words • Click "Enter" or press Enter to submit a word • Click "Delete" or press Backspace to remove letters • Click shuffle button to rearrange the outer letters **Scoring:** • 4-letter words earn 1 point • Longer words earn 1 point per letter • Pangrams (words using all 7 letters) earn bonus 7 points **Goal:** Find as many valid words as possible to advance through ranking levels from Beginner to the highest rank. Progress bar shows your current level and points needed for the next rank. New daily puzzles appear at midnight. Valid words exclude proper nouns, hyphenated words, and obscure terms.
