About Reaction Timer
A green box appears on screen — your only job is to click it as fast as humanly possible. Reaction Timer measures the gap between the flash and your click down to the millisecond, then logs your average and personal best across every attempt. Simple premise, surprisingly hard to put down.
It's the kind of thing that turns into an informal competition the moment anyone else is in the room. Five rounds in, you're obsessing over shaving another 20ms off your average. If you enjoy quick, score-chasing games, this fits right in. For a more visual take on the same idea, Reflex adds animated shapes to the mix if you want an extra layer of challenge.
No setup required — just a mouse or trackpad and a willingness to argue about who has faster hands. Works best on desktop where click latency is consistent.
How to use
• Click the game area to start a new reaction test • Wait for the box to turn from red to green - do NOT click while it's red • Click as quickly as possible when the box turns green and shows "CLICK NOW!" • Your reaction time in milliseconds will be displayed after each attempt • Clicking during the red "Wait for green..." phase counts as jumping the gun - you'll need to restart • The app tracks your number of attempts, average reaction time, and best (fastest) time • Click anywhere on the result screen to try again and improve your times • Goal: Achieve the fastest possible reaction time while avoiding false starts
