Slide Puzzle
A classic sliding tile puzzle featuring iconic public domain artwork. Slide the tiles into place to reveal the masterpiece — choose Easy (3 tiles), Normal (8 tiles), or Hard (15 tiles, the classic 15-puzzle). Upload your own photo for a personal challenge.
About Slide Puzzle
Each puzzle starts scrambled — a famous painting or drawing broken into tiles, one gap waiting to receive the piece that doesn't belong. You slide tiles one at a time, nudging them around that empty space until the image snaps back into order. Easy mode keeps things manageable with just three movable tiles, Normal steps it up to eight, and Hard delivers the classic 15-puzzle that has frustrated and delighted people since the 1870s.
The artwork comes from the public domain, so you might be reassembling a Vermeer, a Hokusai wave, or something equally recognizable — though that recognition doesn't make it easier when the tiles are thoroughly shuffled. If you'd rather work with something personal, upload your own photo and the game will slice it up for you. It fits naturally alongside other games that reward patience over reflexes, and fans of grid-based logic will also enjoy Launch Nonogram.
Controls are pure mouse or touch — tap or click a tile adjacent to the gap to move it. No timer runs by default, so you can think as long as you need.
