About Power Hour
Every 60 seconds, a chime fires and someone drinks. That's the whole premise of Power Hour, and it's been a party staple for decades for good reason. Set the timer, gather your group, and let the app do the refereeing while you focus on keeping up.
Three modes cover the range of ambition: Half Hour for a lighter session, the classic Power Hour for 60 shots across 60 minutes, and Century Club if your group is genuinely committed to 100. Intervals are customizable, so you can dial in the pace to match whatever you're pouring. It fits neatly into the broader lineup of party and social games on Launch Arcade.
Works best on a phone or tablet propped where everyone can see and hear the alert — make sure your volume is up before you start, or the whole timing system quietly falls apart.
How to use
• Select your game duration (60, 100, or 30 minutes) and drinking interval (every 60, 45, or 90 seconds) • Click "Let's Go" to start the timer • When the countdown reaches zero, a "DRINK!" alert appears with sound - take your shot of beer • Click anywhere during the drink alert to dismiss it and continue to the next round • Use "Pause" button to temporarily stop the timer if needed • Use "Quit" button to end the game early • The app tracks your progress with a visual ring that fills as each interval counts down • Numbers turn red in the final 5 seconds of each countdown • Complete all shots within the time limit to win • The timer pauses automatically during drink alerts • Sounds play for countdown warnings and drink alerts OBJECTIVE: Take the specified number of shots (60 for Power Hour) at regular intervals without falling behind the timer.
