About Peg Solitaire
The board starts with 32 pegs and one empty hole. Your job is to jump one peg over another to remove it — over and over — until a single peg sits alone on the board. It sounds straightforward, but working backward from that goal requires real planning. Jump in the wrong order early on and you'll strand clusters of pegs with nowhere to go.
This is the classic English cross-shaped version of the puzzle, one of the oldest games around. There's no timer and no score — just the quiet satisfaction of cracking a problem that's stumped players for centuries. If you enjoy logic-driven puzzles, Launch Nonogram goes in a different direction but demands the same kind of methodical thinking.
The full grid takes up a fair amount of screen space, so a tablet or desktop monitor makes it easier to see which jumps are available at a glance. Mouse clicks handle everything — no keyboard shortcuts needed.
How to use
• Goal: Remove all pegs from the board except one by jumping over adjacent pegs • Controls: Click on a peg you want to move, then click on the empty space where you want to move it • Movement rules: You can only move a peg by jumping over an adjacent peg into an empty space (horizontally or vertically, not diagonally) • When you jump over a peg, that peg gets removed from the board • Valid moves require: a peg to move, an adjacent peg to jump over, and an empty space to land on • The game tracks your total moves and points - consecutive successful moves give you bonus points • Click "Reiniciar jogo" to restart at any time • You win when only one peg remains on the board
