Mimstris
A polished falling-block puzzle game — rotate, drop, and clear lines in this classic-style stacker. Smooth controls and clean visuals.
About Mimstris
Rotate a falling piece, nudge it left or right, then drop it into place before the stack climbs too high. Mimstris is a clean take on the classic falling-block formula — the kind where a single poorly placed piece starts a chain of regret, and clearing four lines at once never gets old. Controls are tight and responsive, with no input lag between your tap and the block's movement.
If you enjoy puzzle and arcade games, this fits right alongside titles you already know. For something that scratches a similar "one more round" itch through number merging instead of stacking, 2048 is worth a look too.
Mimstris plays best on a keyboard — use the arrow keys to move and rotate, then Space to hard-drop. Sessions can last two minutes or forty, depending on how deep the hole you've dug yourself is.
How to use
• Goal: Clear horizontal lines by filling them completely with falling blocks • Use arrow keys or WASD to move pieces left/right/down • Press Shift/Up arrow to rotate pieces clockwise, Z or / to rotate counterclockwise • Blocks fall automatically - guide them into position to fill rows • When a row is completely filled, it disappears and you score points • Game ends when blocks stack up to the top of the screen • Press Enter to pause game or restart after game over • Press M to toggle music on/off • Try to clear multiple rows at once for higher scores • Pieces get faster as you progress, making placement more challenging
