About Mahjong Solitaire
Each round, you scan a tower of face-up tiles and tap two identical ones to remove them from the stack. The catch: a tile is only available if at least one of its left or right sides is open and it isn't buried under another tile. Clear the whole board and you win; paint yourself into a corner and you start over. It sounds simple, but a single careless match early on can quietly seal your fate several moves later.
The full turtle-shell layout takes up real screen space, so this one genuinely shines on a tablet or large monitor where you can see every layer at a glance without scrolling. If grid-based logic puzzles are your thing, more games like this are easy to find in the catalog. For a different flavor of careful tile thinking, Launch Nonogram is worth a look.
No account or timer to worry about — just click or tap to match, and a shuffle button is there if you get stuck.
How to use
• Goal: Remove all tiles from the board by matching pairs of identical tiles • Controls: Click on tiles to select them. Click two matching tiles in sequence to remove them from the board. • Only "open" tiles can be selected - tiles that are on top of the stack and have at least one side (left or right) completely free • Most tiles appear 4 times and must match exactly to be removed • Special exception: Season tiles and flower tiles each appear only once, so any two season tiles can be matched together, and any two flower tiles can be matched together • Use the Hint button if you get stuck finding available matches • Use Restart button to start over with a new tile layout • Strategy tip: Be careful with your moves - you can sometimes make the puzzle unsolvable by removing the wrong pairs first • You win when all tiles are cleared from the board
