Dungeon of Datamancy
Turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler powered by real D&D monster and spell data. Fight 334 SRD creatures, draft from 319 spells, and compete on the leaderboard.
About Dungeon of Datamancy
Each run drops you into a procedurally generated dungeon where you build a spellcaster from scratch — drafting from 319 spells pulled straight from the D&D 5e SRD, then fighting your way through 334 faithfully implemented monsters. That ogre hits as hard as the rulebook says it should. That fireball scales exactly as written. The data isn't decorative; it's the whole engine.
Combat is turn-based, so there's no pressure to react in milliseconds. Think carefully, position well, and manage your spell slots or watch a run unravel fast. Dungeon of Datamancy sits comfortably in the games library alongside deeper strategy titles, but it's particularly rewarding for anyone who already knows their SRD.
Runs vary in length depending on how far you push, but a typical attempt takes 15–30 minutes — long enough to feel meaningful, short enough to squeeze in on a lunch break. A keyboard and a little patience with spellcasting choices will carry you further than raw luck.
