How to Use
• Enter a list of words (one per line) in the text area - these will be the answers in your crossword puzzle • Click "Generate Layout" to create a crossword grid from your words • The generator automatically finds intersecting letters between words and arranges them in a grid pattern • Three outputs are provided: - JSON format showing each word's position, orientation (across/down), and coordinates - HTML grid showing the visual layout of letters - Word search version with random letters filling empty spaces • Not all input words may appear in the final layout if they don't fit well with others • Words that don't fit will have their orientation marked as "none" in the JSON output • The layout may contain disconnected sections (islands of words) • Performance slows with word lists over 100 words • This tool generates layouts only - you must provide your own answer words and clues
