Bombermoji is a local multiplayer brawler built around the classic Bomberman formula, dressed up in cheerful emoji graphics that make the chaos easier to read at a glance. Up to 12 players can squeeze onto a single keyboard or plug in gamepads, which makes it one of the better options in the games catalog for a crowd that wants to start playing in under a minute.
Rounds are short and punchy. You lay bombs, cut off escape routes, and try not to corner yourself — it's simple to learn but produces genuinely tense moments when four people are all scrambling away from overlapping explosions. The emoji art keeps things lighthearted even when the eliminations come fast.
It shines brightest on a big screen with a pile of USB controllers; keyboard play works for smaller groups but gets cramped above four players.
How to use
• Move around a maze-like arena and try to be the last player standing • Drop bombs to destroy blocks and eliminate other players • Bombs explode in a cross pattern after a few seconds - avoid getting caught in the blast • Destroyed blocks may reveal power-ups that increase your bomb range or let you drop more bombs Controls: • Player 1: Arrow keys to move, M to drop bomb • Player 2: WASD to move, T to drop bomb • Gamepad players: Use left stick or directional buttons to move, shoulder buttons to drop bombs • Up to 12 players can play using keyboard and connected gamepads • Hide behind blocks for cover, but remember bombs can destroy most blocks • Time your bomb placement carefully - you can get trapped by your own explosives • Collect power-ups quickly before other players grab them
