When enough Aurum has been refined, invoke the Great Work — a prestige that resets your run but earns permanent Lapis stones, each one multiplying every future cycle. The longer you play, the deeper the mystery. Claim glowing alchemical sigils for production boosts, unlock a Journal as the work progresses, and discover the Quintessence layer — a fifth element that accumulates across all time, funding upgrades that carry through every cycle forever.

When enough Aurum accumulates, you can invoke the Great Work — a prestige reset that strips your progress but banks permanent Lapis stones, multiplying every cycle that follows. A fifth layer called Quintessence builds across all time and funds upgrades that never reset, so nothing is truly lost. Alchemical sigils offer production boosts, and a Journal surfaces gradually as the work deepens, piecing together the mystery behind the atelier.
